‘Heaven On Earth’, the latest radio single from Kristen Lane speaks of enjoying every minute of every day and is another song-writing collaboration with musician/song-writer/producer Garth Porter (Lee Kernaghan, James Blundell, Sara Storer). This is the second single to be lifted from the 2012 Toyota Star Maker finalist’s debut EP, “Loving & Free” which was released on Australia Day 2013.
First single, ‘On The Esplanade’ celebrates all the singer-songwriter’s favourite things about the area she grew up in and still calls home. Kristen was born in the NSW small town of Kurri Kurri and is now based in Morpeth while teaching music at Cessnock High School. She has been singing since she was just five years old, in her father’s band at age 11 and touring the country with her sister, Amanda as The Lanesbury Sisters.
The 2013 Country Music Busking Championships finalist is influenced by country music royalty including Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Willy Nelson and Patsy Cline, Kristen has been blessed to share the stage with many of her peers and Australian country music favourites including Adam Harvey, Felicity Urquhart and The Flood.
