DEEP CREEK ROAD – WHAT IF I WAS WILLING

Latest single, ‘What If I Was Willing’ from Melbourne-based act Deep Creek Road, has already had a starring role on US hit TV show Nashville. Fans of the show will remember during Season Two when main character, up and coming artist Will Lexington, performed it on a number of episodes. Steve Simmons & J’aime Holland, the driving forces behind Deep Creek Road came across the track while in the famed music city a few years back. They had answered an ‘extras casting call’ and subsequently featured in the episode when the song made its debut.
The track is actually written by Nashville hit-makers Billy Montana (Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Kenny Rogers), Randy Montana (Garth Brooks, Jo Dee Messina, Sara Evans) and on-the-rise singer-songwriter Brian Davis. This is the second track lifted from their second EP “I Wanna See Ur Crazy”.  The first single and title track was written by Steve and J’aime along with well-known country writer Clive Young (Adam Brand, Brooke McClymont, Amber Lawrence) and celebrated two months on the Country Tracks Top 40.
Deep Creek Road has toured extensively across the country including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Deni Ute Muster, Melbourne’s Live On The Lawn festival alongside Kasey Chambers, Lee Kernaghan and will perform at their first Gympie Music Muster this August. The band is currently in Nashville ready to enjoy the CMA Music Festival while writing/recording new music for their new album due for release in 2016.
