‘Coming Home’ is the new original single from singer-songwriter Shara Rose. Originally from Perth, WA Shara Rose moved to Sydney, NSW in 2019 to purse music full-time. A love of music has always been part of Shara Rose’s story. Her talent was recognised in her teens, when she was accepted into a specialist music school with a singing scholarship as she regularly performed at school concerts, musicals, and events.
After graduating from university as an accredited Exercise Physiologist who primarily treats car accident victims, post-cancer, heart disease and mental health clients, Shara Rose started a successful exercise physiology business in Perth, WA.
Shara Rose’s extensive performance history both in NSW & WA includes community and commercial events, festivals, private functions, churches, schools and hospitals plus opening the Sydney show for English pop singer-songwriter Kiki Dee (‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’, ‘I’ve Got The Music In Me’) in 2019 and for Jason Owen on the John Denver: The Acoustic Sessions Tour. Shara Rose first connected with Jason Owen after performing at his hometown Dubbo Show and her management contacted Jason who then invited her to open his Sydney show. After that one performance, the invitation was extended for the rest of the tour.
‘Coming Home’ is Shara Rose’s personal story of leaving her family and hometown of Perth, WA to move to Sydney, NSW and discovering that you can make a home anywhere because home is the people you love and have in your world and not just a place. This single is the follow-up to July 2022’s ‘Hold On’ a tune where Shara Rose shares her personal experience with Endometriosis.
Inspired by country music artists including Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Carrie Underwood, and Kane Brown, Shara Rose is set to kick off the performances on the Tania Kernaghan And Jason Owen In Concert Tour starting at the end of the month.
