- Gretta started off 2015 with a trip to Australia’s Country Music Capital where she performed multiple shows, participated in the Country Music Cavalcade for the first time & was a Grand Finalist in the Toyota Star Maker competition.
- February saw Gretta perform at the Whittlesea Country Music Festival for the first time and the following month headed to the Yackandandah Folk Festival.
- In March, new single, ‘Some Kind Of Habit’ was released – the track was co-written with Jasper Hollis and is a tongue in cheek ‘woe is me’ breakup tale. This is the 3rd single from Gretta’s debut EP “Hell’s Half Acre”. Check out the clip here: http://bit.ly/1x79NYX
- That same month another track from the EP, ‘Rust And Bones’ was named as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition – the only track from Australia in the Americana category. This track has also been a finalist in the Tamworth Songwriters’ Association – 2014 Songwriter’s Salute Awards in the Alternative/Blues/Bluegrass category. Gretta was a finalist in three categories at these awards.
- Gretta also toured with fellow Alt-Country artists Matt Henry, Fanny Lumsden, Jen Mize, Not Good With Horses & Larissa Tandy in both Victoria and NSW. QLD tour dates are being finalised for later in the year.
