“Hope” Elisha Francesca

NEW MUSIC: ‘HOPE’ ELISHA FRANCESCA

Elisha Francesca’s new single, ‘Hope’ does what a good friend would do when you feel like you are sitting with the weight of the world on your shoulders. Co-written with Matt Scullion, this sunny little song will sit with you and lift your spirits. Penned at the 2020 CMAA Academy of Country Music and performed by Elisha at the graduation ceremony, the track was inspired by the bush fires that ravaged the country that same year.

With words of gentle encouragement and a reminder that ‘it is ok not to be ok, all the time’, but it is also important to hold on to hope. And that this too, whatever it is, shall pass. A message of where there is hope, there is a chance/life and sometimes that is all you need.

Previous releases for the Melbourne singer-songwriter include “Thoughts & Feelings” her debut EP in July 2021 and follow-up singles ‘Wild Horses’ (March 2022) and ‘Don’t Take It To Heart’ (August 2022). The rest of 2023 includes: more music releases plus live performances including the Warrandyte Festival (past performers include The Teskey Brothers, Greg Champion & Aleyce Simmonds) whilst eagerly awaiting news on her entry into the Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition – (named after the iconic songwriters and founding members of The Easybeats, Harry Vanda and the late George Young)and ‘Aussie Bush Idol’ at The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival (April).
