Latest single, ‘I Believe In You’ from Kel-Anne Brandt was originally recorded by American country artist Don Williams in 1980 but Kel-Anne has made it her own and it fits perfectly on her 2013 CD release “One Day At A Time”.
‘I Believe In You’ written by Roger Cook (in 1997 became the only British songwriter to enter the Nashville Songwriters Hall Of Fame) and Sam Hogin (Crystal Gayle, Shania Twain, John Denver) was nominated for ‘Song Of The Year’ at the 1981 CMA Awards.
This latest single is the 3rd to be released from “One Day At A Time” with 1st single, ‘Grandma’ reaching #1 in the USA and 2nd single, ‘Green Door’ peaking at #7 on the Country Tracks Top 40 chart. The album was produced/engineered/mixed by Matt Fell (Troy Cassar-Daley, Graeme Connors, McAlister Kemp) and mastered by Michael Carpenter (Adam Brand, The Harmonators, Jonah’s Road) at Sydney’s Love HZ studios
A further music collection is primed to coincide with Kel-Anne’s performances at upcoming country music festivals, firstly at the Mildura Country Music Festival on Friday September 25th and then on Saturday October 10th at the Port Pirie Country Music Festival. The current title holder of the Mo Award for ‘Female Vocal Performer of the Year’, has gathered most of her hit songs plus a few songs that were never released from her previous albums.
Some of the tracks featured on the “Best So Far” album include ‘Somewhere Between Love and Leavin’- the 1st track Kel-Anne performed on the Bert Newton Show, Kel-Anne’s first #1 hit ‘Top Of My List’ – a duet with Daniel Thompson which was written by Kel-Anne & Roger Corbett, the award-winning ‘My Baby Loves Me’, ‘Rockin’ With The Rhythm Of The Rain’ – performed with her daughter Natalie and ‘Legend in the Making’ – a duet with Brian Cadd.
