The new video clip ‘Ride Away’ from Ian Burns was created by Paul Denham and his crew, cameraman Murray Tonkin & drone operator Ashely Raphael. Shot at the Scenic Equine Centre in Denham Court, Western Sydney, the clip features Ian’s wife Susie of 28 years and hoofed-pals BHM Mona Lisa and Pegasus.

Featured on Ian’s debut album “Want To Sing” and produced by Doug Bruce at Shoo Fly Studios, ‘Ride Away’ was serviced to radio via CRS Publicity #193. Written by Ian about when the stresses of the world get you down, saddling up your horse and riding away. When you feel the wind in your hair you can let your worries just fall away.

Ian and his music were recently honoured in The Josie Music Awards – the Nashville based accolades to recognise the work and talent of independent artists in all genres world-wide. Nominated by a radio DJ in the USA, Ian was included in the Traditional Country Music section for categories – Best Male Artist, Male Vocalist Of The Year, Song Of The Year ‘Ride Away’, Video Of The Year ‘Boundary Rider’ and Entertainer Of The year.

While Ian didn’t come home with any prizes, he was thrilled to be included and visit Nashville for the very first time – the trip was extended to celebrate Ian and Susie’s wedding anniversary. They took in the sights of the music capital including the Grand Ole Opry and The Ryman Auditorium before heading to Memphis to check out Gibson Guitars and BB King’s Blues Club. Next stop was Texas where they spent the week with Doug Bruce and his family to celebrate Maw Maw’s (Nan) 100th Birthday! Fort Worth saw them visit Billie Bob’s Texas and experience Mo Pitney live in concert. Final stop was Las Vegas for a day trip to the Grand Canyon and live shows from John Fogerty and Thompson Square. The Burns’ wedding anniversary was marked by celebrations at Caesars Palace with music by Celine Dion.
