Golden Guitar nominee Paul Costa will be performing at Cobden Golf Club on Saturday September 14th with part proceeds going to the Royal Children’s Hospital. The show will feature songs from his fourth album, “Wheels & Steel” which debuted on the ARIA Australian Artist Country Albums Chart at No.2 and has already produced two No.1 radio hits with singles ‘Tractors & Bikes’ and ‘Big End Of Town’.
The Mallee-born musician says, “I’m very excited to be coming back and performing in Cobden again, it’s always a great night and this time for a good cause raising funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital”. Paul has performed all over Australia at major events including The Gympie Music Muster, the iconic Birdsville Races, The Tamworth Country Music Festival and internationally in Europe, Japan and New Zealand. He has also entertained Australian and New Zealand troops in East Timor.
In 2011 Paul was asked to be an ambassador for Mission Australia and continues performing at events and working on fundraising and awareness projects for their community service programs. A career highlight was when Paul was nominated for three Golden Guitars in the 38th CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia including Male Artist Of The Year alongside Keith Urban, Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Brand and James Blundell.
