Luella’s latest single ‘Catherine’ has peaked at #3 on the iTunes Australia Country Top Songs Chart and #5 on the GooglePlay Country Top Songs Chart. Released last week, this is a welcome return for Luella since 2012’s ‘Not Thinking About You’.
‘Catherine’ was written about a friend of Luella’s, based on a scheme conjured up by her husband and the Brisbane-based singer-songwriter. Catherine’s husband wanted to immortalise his wife in song after 36 years of marriage. The song was kept a secret while it was written and recorded over five months.
