NRMA BusinessWise Country Music Cocktails is back by popular demand after being widely heralded as one of the highlights of the 2013 Tamworth Country Music Festival.

More than 60 artists volunteered their time to be part of the event but with room for only 35 artists on the bill, the event organisers have carefully selected the final line-up. Excitingly, the 2014 event sees the introduction of seasoned professional Sean Rudd coming on board as Music Director. Ben Sorensen from Real Country once again takes on hosting duties after doing a fantastic job last January.
Billed as the “hottest party at the Tamworth Country Music Festival” the event will include acoustic performances plus a meet ‘n’ greet fan experience with a room full of Australia’s Country stars – the only other similar experience is the Golden Guitar after-party.
Just 200 tickets are being sold including 80 pre-sales tickets that have already sold out. Ronald McDonald Children’s charities will benefit with a donation from the event. “Special offer tickets that included dual entry to Country Music Cocktails and Country in the Vines have already sold out, and Cocktails tickets are selling fast! It is a great response”, continues Perrin Finlay-Brown.
The following artists have been announced with more to come (and a couple of surprise special guests who will remain unnamed): Dianna Corcoran, Paul Costa, Georgia Fall, Peter McWhirter, Warren H Williams, Kirsty Lee Akers, Aleyce Simmonds, Roo Arcus, Kristy Cox, The Harmonators, Lachlan Bryan, The Viper Creek Band, Bob Corbett & The Roo Grass Band, The Apprentices, Livi Robins, Kristy James, Dozzi, Forever Road, Jasper Hollis, Gena Rose Bruce and Seleen McAlister.
In line with the event’s focus of promoting Aussie talent, 2014 see’s the introduction of a “Future Stars” section of the event, giving young stars the chance to perform and rub shoulders with their idols – Karrie Hayward, Caitlyn Shadbolt and Kiara Rodrigues have already been announced.
