NRMA Business Motoring Country Music Cocktails returns to the Tamworth Country Music Festival after two hugely successful stints.
After the event’s debut in 2013, it is now recognised by many artists as a flagship event at the festival. From 32 artists applying to appear in 2013 to 174 expressing their interest for the 2015 event, the party has certainly grown. After careful consideration 36 artists will appear at the 2015 NRMA Business Motoring Country Music Cocktails hosted by Ben Sorensen from REAL COUNTRY.
Some of the artists confirmed to appear include star husband and wife duo O’Shea, dual Golden Guitar winners Jetty Road, Golden Guitar, Toyota Star Maker & Telstra Road To Discover winner Kirsty Lee Akers, 2013 CMAA New Talent winner Ashleigh Dallas and carrying the torch for traditional country music, chart-topper Roo Arcus. After introducing ‘Rising Stars’ to the line-up last year, this category is back once again – one of those ‘Rising Stars’ was Caitlyn Shadbolt who made it to Top 5 on The X Factor Australia and will once again appear at the event, but this time as one of the star performers. New rising stars will get an extra “leg-up” in 2015 with one lucky young entrant receiving a prize from Market The Music, Peppertone Productions and The Vault Studios. This handpicked winner will receive 6 months of music business and marketing mentoring, media and publicity advice and a new single produced by Golden Guitar nominated producer Sean Rudd. This prize is valued at just over $3,500.
As always the fans will also be eligible for prizes on the day including a Chris Watson Travel Partners $250 travel voucher as lucky door, and Lisa Mangion beauty prize packs for the best dressed male and female.

It started as a fun little charity event and to give back to the artists because many invest a lot to attend Tamworth. Three years on and it certainly has grown. More and more fans and artists are showing their respect for the event and now even coincide their festival arrival with Country Music Cocktails.
